Weekly Contra Dance Schedule
 

Our weekly contra dances every Monday of the month unless otherwise indicated.
Please join us for an evening of music, dancing, community,  and joy!

MAIN LOCATION
Weekly dances will be held at Mecklenburg Shrine Club
5200 Mecklenburg Shrine Club Road, Charlotte, NC 28215
 

Come before the lesson to help us setup! 6:45-7 PM
Beginner Lesson: 7-7:30PM
Dance Time: 7:30- 10 PM
Help us reset the room: 10:00-10:15 PM

Due to higher costs, we are moving to a sliding scale (voluntary) admission
Live music will now be $12-15 per person
Recorded music will now be $8-12 per person

Students $5
Children under 12 free.

Newcomers are welcome and you don’t need a partner!

July 20 - Recorded music with calling by our Callers Collective
July 27 - New England band Missing Lynx (Oliver Scanlon on fiddle, viola, percussion, and Alex Fortier on keyboard) with nationally known caller Adina Gordon​
